Ex Machina

Finally watched it.  Alicia Vikander just keeps blowing me away.  One woman, some insanely incredible talent.  Not to undermine the performances of either Domhnall Gleeson or Oscar Isaac, but the raw emotion that emanated from a human who was to act as an AI?  So biting yet so reserved at the same time.

Also the storyline and the way it was carried out, props to Alex Garland for making something original that was still well-regarded.  It was the first time in a while that I felt I was experiencing something new on the screen and not the same old Hollywood recipe.

I guess I don’t have much more to say, it was just a really great watch.  It absorbed me completely and was well-executed.  A must see.
